There is nothing that energizes me more than seeing someone doing what they love. I'm not an expert, but I'd guess that keeping the mind busy with a job that feels more like a hobby, is good for the soul and body, so why not make a buck and feel good about it. There is nothing worse than punching in and counting down the minutes until you clock out, only to sit in an hour or two of traffic. I'm sure we've all been a victim of a miserable job at one point in our lives.
I started my working life by scooping ice cream and waitressing at Friendly's. I loved it! Partly because I got discounted ice cream and partly because it was so fast-paced that it kept me on my toes. Since then, I've explored my options and over the years I've fluctuated from miserable to sky-high happy. I want to hear from anyone who punches in with passion, so stay tuned to hear stories from those who have discovered their love that makes some loot. If anything, maybe it will inspire you to make a change for the better or learn a little bit about those jobs that may not be glamorous, but are making people happy every day.
